Overview

In this recent installation, our team was commissioned to upgrade security and access control at a school in Parr, St Helens. The client required a fully automated solution for both vehicle and pedestrian access, with a focus on convenience, reliability, and safety.

Project Highlights

• Automated Double Leaf Vehicle Gate
  Fitted with robust FAAC 415 drive arms, the double swing gates provide smooth and reliable operation for daily use. The system is integrated with the Paxton Net2 access control platform, offering secure and trackable entry for residents and authorized personnel.
  A Videx remote intercom enhances visitor communication and remote access capabilities.

• Automated Pedestrian Gate
  Adjacent to the main vehicle entrance, a single leaf pedestrian gate was also automated using a FAAC 415 drive arm, providing seamless access while maintaining site security.
  For added flexibility, the pedestrian gate includes a manual push-to-exit button, ensuring ease of use without compromising control.

Integrated Access Control

The Paxton Net2 system enables controlled access via fobs or cards, allowing the property owner to manage and monitor who enters the premises. Integration with the Videx GSM intercom system allows for remote communication and entry approval — perfect for managing deliveries or guests.
