Temporary Construction CCTV Installation at The Christie, Manchester
Millbrook Primary School, Shevington
Mere UK was commissioned as a FAAC approved installer to design and install an automatic barrier system at The Arch G.U.M Clinic in Huyton, Liverpool. The primary objective was to effectively control vehicle access to the visitor car park while ensuring safety, reliability, and ease of use.
The chosen solution was the FAAC 640 hydraulic barrier system featuring a 7-metre beam. This model was selected for its robust construction and proven performance in demanding commercial environments.
Key features of the system include:
To manage visitor and delivery access, a Videx video intercom system was installed. This allows clinic staff at reception to visually verify and grant entry, ensuring controlled and secure access to the premises.
For efficient and safe exit from the car park, underground induction loops have been installed. These detect approaching vehicles and automatically trigger the barrier to open, enabling smooth traffic flow without requiring driver interaction.
An override key switch has also been incorporated, allowing manual control of the barrier when required.
The FAAC product range remains Mere UK’s preferred choice for gate and barrier installations due to its reliability, safety features, and suitability for commercial applications.
At Mere UK, all systems are designed and installed in full compliance with relevant regulations, including:
This ensures that every installation meets the highest standards of safety and operational performance.
