Automatic Door & Gate Engineer (Immediate Start)
This is a full-time on-site role for an Automatic Gate Engineer, located in St Helens, Merseyside. The role requires travelling to various Mere UK installations throughout the Northwest of England. You will primarily be travelling around the Merseyside area, with some servicing and installations in the Lancashire and Cheshire areas. The Automatic Gate Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of automatic gates and door automation systems. Daily tasks include troubleshooting system malfunctions, performing regular maintenance checks, and ensuring all installations comply with safety and regulatory standards. The role requires working closely with clients to ensure their system requirements are met efficiently and effectively. Qualifications
- Experience in installing and maintaining Automatic Gates and Door Automation systems
- Knowledge of Access Control and CCTV systems
- Skills in troubleshooting, repair, and system diagnostics
- Basic electrical skills and experience with low-voltage systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently on-site
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical installations or similar fields
- Experience in the security installation sector is a plus
- A full UK Driving License is essential
